Climate-KIC (CKIC) is a knowledge and innovation community working to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral and climate-resilient society. Founded and predominantly supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, our purpose is to tackle climate change through innovation. We are Europe’s largest public-private partnership with this purpose – a growing pan-European community of diverse organisations united by a commitment to direct the power of creativity and human ingenuity at the climate change challenge. We believe that a sustainable, decarbonised economy is not only necessary to prevent catastrophic climate change but that it also presents a wealth of opportunities for businesses and society alike. With over 350 formal organisational partners from across 25 countries, we work on innovation to mitigate climate change and to adapt to its unavoidable impacts.

Using our experience in sustainable agriculture and food systems, EU affairs, systems innovation and innovative solution development, Climate KIC aims to enable and scale the transition to farm climate neutrality through its work in ClieNFarms. Specifically, CKIC is developing a scaling framework for the I3S solutions and is connecting ClieNFarms to an array of complementary projects and to national and EU Farm to Fork policies.
