ClieNFarms Project Success Story Published by Green Deal Support Office

Central to the project’s impact are its Creative Arenas (CAs), which are embedded within each of the 20 farm networks involved. These arenas foster an innovative, participatory approach where stakeholders from various sectors of agriculture collaborate on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing carbon sequestration.

Using structured, hands-on methods, each CA brings together input suppliers, advisors, financiers, educators, researchers, and processors to identify impactful and feasible solutions that could be implemented on farms. The stakeholders work through targeted discussions to outline practical solutions and evaluate the barriers to implementing more challenging approaches. Together, they assess the forms of support that farmers need, as well as the contributions other stakeholders can make to help integrate sustainable practices more effectively.

The diverse array of activities and inputs provided during these sessions encourage robust dialogue, facilitating a shared understanding among stakeholders. This collaborative approach not only strengthens the feasibility of the solutions but also cultivates a supportive network for the transition to more sustainable farm systems.

By showcasing ClieNFarms, the Green Deal Support Office highlights a successful model in which collaboration and shared knowledge drive meaningful agricultural change, benefiting both the environment and the farming community.
