Idele Welcomed the I3S Managers in Brittany

On the 9th and 10th of April, Idele welcomed the I3S managers in Brittany to discover the region’s dairy and beef production. Several visits marked these 2 days:

– A visit to one of the lead commercial farms involved in the project: a grazing dairy farm with a good work organization and a decreasing carbon footprint !

– A visit to the SVA Jean Rozé experimental farm: a beef farm where cross-breeding is being tested to ensure high-quality carcasses

– A visit to the #CIRBEEF and #CIRVEAU: innovative experimental farms working on adding value to animals from the dairy herd.

These 2 days were also an opportunity for the I3S managers to discover the CAP’2ER tool, which enables an environmental analysis of farms via an analysis of the carbon footprint as well as the feeding potential, nitrogen balance, biodiversity,… These rich discussions will feed into the progress of the ClieNFarms project!
